Growing strong leaders and team champions in work, life and technology

Colonel honors Engineering class

Today, Engineering students were honored by the presence of Colonel Worth Carter.  Carter engaged students wholeheartedly in discussion of leadership and ECU history, with Dr. Leo Jenkins as an example of a great ECU leader.  Carter, a 2X ECU alum, is on campus to support the ECU Military Programs Committee led by Dr. Steve Duncan and the events of Military Appreciation Weekend, which culminate with the ECU-Navy football game tomorrow.  A special event will be held at Brook Valley Country Club tonight with honorees to be enshrined in ECU’s Distinguished Military Service Society.  Definitely to be showcased is ECU’s recently earned 2010 Freedom Award.
